Saturday, August 20, 2005                                              6:45pm -Rain or Shine                               Sponsored by the Atlantic City Beach Patrol Registration: All swimmers must check in at the Flying Cloud restaurant in Historic Gardner's Basin on race day between 5:30 & 6:3Opm -800 North New Hampshire Avenue -Atlantic City, NJ. Transportation will be provided from the registration area to the start. Course: Starting at Pacific Avenue beach, swimmers proceed out into the channel in a southwesterly direction, turn left at the seawall into Gardner's Basin and finish at the boat ramp adjacent to the Flying Cloud restaurant. This is a fast mile that will be current assisted and all swimmers must follow the course established by the patrol boats. Entry fee: Advance entries are $20.00 and must be received by Thursday, August 18, 2005. Entries will be accepted on race day with a $25.00 fee. All checks should be made payable to the Bernard "Murph" Levy Scholarship Fund. T -shirts are provided to all preentered contestants and will also be available on a first come - first serve basis to those who sign up on race day.
